I purchased a new Canon Power Shot A1000is at the end of December. As luck would have it I dropped it in the airport a couple of weeks ago and broke it. RATS!!!! But wait.......Go Canon!!! I'm tellin ya I was devastated! The reason being is my camera is truly a part of my being. You know how us bloggers are, can't even go to the bathroom without our camera's for fear we might miss a good blog topic. LOL LOL
Anywoo, I called the 800 number on my Canon booklet and had expected I would be getting my panties in a wad with the customer service agent. YEP, I was ready for him or her. Well let me tell you I am 55 years old and it was the most pleasant experience I've had in a loooooong time. Dave was such a friendly, helpful guy. I told him what had happened and he asked me a couple of questions, told me what to to and where to send the camera. I sent the camera to Canon by UPS last Monday and yesterday when I got home my camera was lying on the table. ONE WEEK Y'ALL. Now that is customer service.
This is my first Canon......it takes wonderful pictures, I love all the funtions it has to offer and I know if I have problems, they will offer me GREAT customer service. Girls if you hadn't had to deal with customer service lately.......IT USUALLY STINKS. Kudos to Canon!!!
Now that I have my camera back I can take a picture of my giveaway items. YEP, it's a giveaway and I think you're gonna love it. So stay tuned.

That makes me want to go out and buy one......
Great to hear about a company who still believes in customer service and I thank you for sharing your experience.
YEAH...that's great news. I love my Canon but it's 5 years old and I want to get another one. I'm going to look into the one you got because Canon seems to be so customer friendly!
PS: Like your new header!
I am so glad to know that. At work I have to deal with customer service people a lot and you are right, it stinks most of the time. Glad you got your camera back.
I love my Canon Power Shot. Glad to know there is hope if I ever break it. Don't keep us in suspense too long about the giveaway!
Glad you got your camera back sissy!
We got a new Canon Rebel xsi to make pictures of Harper and I just love it! But I still love my little Cannon Power Shot SD 400 that is so small I can carry in my pocket or purse. I never leave home without it!!
Can't believe you got such good service. These days it is almost non-existing!
Alright now, let's see some of those pictures!!
Oh, girl, I am thrilled to hear this. I also have a Canon that was 1 yr. old at Christmas...dropped it and it won't take good photos now. So, I was dreading sending it off..afraid I might never see it again or at least, for a long time. Now, tho, I am going to box it up, send it to them and hope I get MINE back as soon as you did..
Thanks a million for letting us know..

I have an old Canon SLR that I LOVED... but want a DSLR SOOOO bad.
It's all about customer service, isn't it?
I love it when you get good customer service. Whenever that happens I try to make a point of writing the company and telling them the specific person who was so helpful. Glad you get your camera back.
Hi Becky...this is encouraging...I have the Canon Powershot & my DH wants to buy the Canon Rebel XS... so thanks for sharing this glowing report of Canon's customer service!
Love your header photo! ;-) Bo
Isn't it so nice to have a good experience? That's awesome!
I love my Canon too. That's great news about their customer service...just in case I ever need it.
Hugs!

WOW that is great service! I'm so glad you have your camera back! And so great that you didn't have to go and buy another new one to replace it!
I have my Nikon SLR camera, but would love to have a smaller one that I could fit in my purse. I may have to check this Canon out --specially if their customer service is that good! That's unbelievable in this day and time!
Sorry...forgot to tell you that I LOVE your header photo! So cute!
