A Shout Out To Canon

I purchased a new Canon Power Shot A1000is at the end of December. As luck would have it I dropped it in the airport a couple of weeks ago and broke it. RATS!!!! But wait.......Go Canon!!! I'm tellin ya I was devastated! The reason being is my camera is truly a part of my being. You know how us bloggers are, can't even go to the bathroom without our camera's for fear we might miss a good blog topic. LOL LOL

Anywoo, I called the 800 number on my Canon booklet and had expected I would be getting my panties in a wad with the customer service agent. YEP, I was ready for him or her. Well let me tell you I am 55 years old and it was the most pleasant experience I've had in a loooooong time. Dave was such a friendly, helpful guy. I told him what had happened and he asked me a couple of questions, told me what to to and where to send the camera. I sent the camera to Canon by UPS last Monday and yesterday when I got home my camera was lying on the table. ONE WEEK Y'ALL. Now that is customer service.
This is my first Canon......it takes wonderful pictures, I love all the funtions it has to offer and I know if I have problems, they will offer me GREAT customer service. Girls if you hadn't had to deal with customer service lately.......IT USUALLY STINKS. Kudos to Canon!!!

Now that I have my camera back I can take a picture of my giveaway items. YEP, it's a giveaway and I think you're gonna love it. So stay tuned.

Flight Attendant Friday

Just a few of the things I LUV about my job.

I LUV getting almost as excited as my passengers when we are bringing them into Ft. Lauderdale to board a cruise ship for seven days. You can see some of the cruise ships in the background of the picture above. There were seventeen ships docked in Ft. Lauderdale March 14th. Southwest added ten additional flights that day alone for this city.

I LUV that I was NOT working any flights out of Ft. Lauderdale on March 14th. Can you imagine trying to get your luggage checked and getting thru security. If you've ever been on a cruise, they kick you off the ship about 8:00 a.m. and your flight might not be until that afternoon.

I LUV that I have a job where I can lay out at the pool.......

Look up at the beautiful blue sky, watch the palm trees swaying in the breeze and not have a care in the world.

I LUV that I have a job where I can step out onto the balcony after waiting on peeps all day and see a beautiful sunset.........

Or step out onto the balcony and be able to watch the space shuttle "Discovery" blast off into the wild blue yonder like I did on March 15th in Tampa.
I LUV my job!!!

Day 4 & 6 THE MAGIC KINGDOM!

You always know you've arrived at the Magic Kingdom when you see Mickey's face in the flower bed!

And then there's Cinderella's castle in all her glory. Love this picture with Reid and Cade seeing the castle for the first time.

How about a little Dumbo......

And of course the Tea Cups are a must!

Pop and Ridge soakin it all in. This sweet baby had a smile on his face the entire week.

Reid and Cade's favorite ride with Buzz Light Year! TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!

Gotta have a picture of Pop and Mimi with the castle in the background and I especially love the designs they are able to make out of the hedges.

It's a Small World after all!

Cort and Reid flying high on the Peter Pan ride.

Sweet boys!

Our smallest "Musketeer"!

Six days and still full of energy!

Thanks Ryan for planning our "Magical" vacation! Can't wait until next year to do it all again. Wait a minute......who said that!

Day 3 Epcot - Day 5 Hollywood Studios

Sunday was Epcot day.

The boys looked so cute in the Mickey Mouse ears and Cade wore his sunglasses everyday.
Debbie (Cortney's MIL), Cort and myself in front of Spaceship Earth. I love how the sun was reflecting on SE.

Tuesday we spent the day at Hollywood Studios.

I have no clue what we were getting ready for here......I just know it was 3-D (sorry for the memory lapse).

Cade and Reid with one of the Power Rangers. Cade was soooooo shy.

Me and my new boyfriend, Sulley.

Auntie Claire was our waitress at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. We had the most fun at this restaurant. The inside looked like your grandma's house back in the 50's.

The food was delish here and doesn't it remind you of the 50's. Too cool!

Day Two - Animal Kingdom

The second day of our trip was spent at Animal Kingdom.

Here's Reid and Cade waiting for the bus to pick us up at our resort and take us to Animal Kingdom.

Of course Ridge was all smiles and ready to go!

The first ride on our agenda was the Triceratops Spin.

Pop showing out.

Ryan, Cortney, Alvin and Roger a little on edge about riding Expedition Everest!

My favorite part of Animal Kingdom was Kilimanjaro Safari. If you've never done this......well, it's a must. The animals are amazing and so is the scenery.

The giraffes were running across the road in front of the truck.

Isn't the scenery amazing.

This guy was taking it easy....thank goodness. I'm glad he wasn't looking for dinner as we passed.

Festival of the Lion King. We all loved this show, Ridge woke up from his nap during the show and would not stop watching. The music of course was from the Lion King and dancing were terrific!

Reid, Cortney, Ridge, Goofy, Ryan and Cade

I wanted to get a picture of Expedition Everest. It was so strange to see a snow covered mountian in the middle of Palm trees.

There's nothing like Mickey Mouse ears and Mickey Mouse ice cream on a fun filled day!

Of course, there's a parade at most every park at least once a day and we didn't miss a one. Here's Minnie and her polka dotted jeep (wish I had one just like it).

And here's Donald. Cade and Reid really loved the parades!

There's nothing like ending a day at Animal Kingdom with a dip in the pool.....even when your lips are blue and your teeth are chattering from the cold water.

Pop and Cade before lights out. Another big day tomorrow!
