Good eats and a couple of awards

Have you girls every tried stuffed jalapenos? Well, if not you must. My hero fixed us some last night and let me tell you now they were YUMMO!!! They are soooooo quick and easy. Here's the recipe:

1 lb. sausage
1 block cream cheese
1/2 cup to a cup grated parmesan cheese
15 t0 20 jalapenos

(WARNING) make sure you wash your hands after you handle the peppers.

Wash peppers, cut in half, remove seeds and membrane. Brown sausage and drain. Mix sausage, cream cheese and parmesan cheese. Stuff mixture in jalapenos.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes check on them.....you may want to cook a little longer. The pepper is suppose to be soft.

Kyla gave me this "Life is Grand" award and I'm suppose to list five reasons my life is "grand".

1. Life is grand because I have been married to the love of my life for 36 years and I can't imagine what my life would have been like without my hero.

2. Life is grand because of my two beautiful daughters that have always made me sooooo proud.

3. Life is grand because someone invented chapstick so my lips wouldn't be chapped after spending the day kissing on those three precious grandsons.

4. Life is grand because I live only five minutes from my mom and we have a wonderful relationship.

5. Life is grand because I have always be fortunate to have many, many friends, not only in real life but in blogland!

Thanks Kyla

Kayla and Jacquie both gave me the above award.......thanks girls.

"These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find friends and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships will be propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly- written text into the body of their award."

I want to pass both these awards along to all my blog friends!

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and let's all go out and have a fabulous week!

You listed some very GRAND things about your life...and I've had those jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese & wrapped in bacon, but not this version...these do sound delicious! Congrats on your awards. ;-) Bo

I had the jalapenos at a Christmas party and have made them a couple times since. They are so good. If you where rubber gloves while you make them, you have no problem with your hands. What a lovely list of grand things.

Hey Becky,

I live right outside of Memphis, just across the state line in Mississippi. It just seems so useless to issue a ticket and tell someone that if they go to court, the judge will dismiss it. What a wasted day.

Have a great day.....I'm sure I will!

Congrats on your awards and I loved your 'Grand' list!

Thanks for the sweet comment girl...I 'throw it out there' alright! I like to have throwed myself right into the kitchen sink this afternoon! I was standing in a chair and trying to work some voo doo magic on the window over the sink when the whole curtain fell & I was trying to catch it before it hit the sink & then I realized I better catch myself before I hit the floor...oh it was a close call! lol lol Finding a happy place ain't as easy as they say...I need a road map! lol lol
