Hi y'all. Hope everyone had a FABULOUS weekend! I know we did......but boy talk about exhausted. Everyone is probably like us, tryin to get things ready for spring and summer! Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth it. Then I realize, yes it is!!!
Here are just a few pictures from the past week. I'm not ready to show you any of the finished projects (mainly because non of them are finished just yet). LOL However, wanted to show you a little of our progress. Okie dokie......let's get started.
Looky here, I'm gonna try my hand at gardening in pots this year. Oh won't my sister Susie over at digginginthedirt-susie.blogspot.com be so proud of me. My sissy is a wonderful gardener both flower and vegetable gardening. Susie has a degree in Horticulture. Well as for me I have a RHD.......that would be root hog or die! LOL LOL Anywhooie we'll see how this pot gardening goes. I'm sure all of you in blogland will get a REAL kick out of it.Here are just a few pictures from the past week. Here's froggy, wonder what he's laughing about.
Yep, and there are projects going on. We'll see the end results in a later post as well.
LUV my flag Cortney got me for Christmas and I can't wait to show you what it's braggin about.
Sure hope everyone went to Lowe's for their ferns this year. If you haven't, don't wait another second they were only $7.88 each! That's the real deal.
And last but not least, I can't wait to tell you about my moss and the pot they are in. So stay tuned girls for the latest in gardening by Becjane. For now, I wasted most of the morning, gotta get busy.
Oh, one more thing. Here goes one of my crazy questions. Would anyone be interested in doing a video blogpost? Ya know one where we're all talkin with our crazy little accents. I just thought it would be fun for us to do maybe a short snippet of us talking. We've all been visiting each other on blogland for awhile now and I just thought it would be fun to have a voice to put to a face kinda deal. My new digital camera has a gadget where you can video and yesterday while at Cortney's I was videoing the boys and while watching them last night I thought of this idea. Now trust me I am from the south and I sound horrible on the video, but I am willing if anyone else is. Anyone up for it.......please let me know. Come on, now don't be shy.
Now, I've gotta get up and finish these projects I've started. Talk to you girlies later. Have wonderful week and may God bless you all!

Beautiful ferns Becky. I have never had success gardening in pots. One year Nalley had pretty good success. Can't wait to see what you are working on. Hope you are enjoying your afternoon.
We have ferns that grow wild in the forest. I've dug a few up and potted them and my hubby laughs...but they are soooo pretty! It looks like you've been busy and I can't wait to see the whole thing put together. Get it done so we can see!
Your ferns and flowers looks so pretty. Can't wait to see the finished projects. Oh if I could figure out how to put video on my blog I would be game. My voice is something else. My accent is pretty thick. You'd get a kick out of me for sure.
Becky, You are busy! Can't wait to see what you are doing!
I got a prutty bad accent, Miss Becky, but I might give it a try! Nancy
I was just at Lowe's tonite and must have bypassed those beauties! I did get some pretty flowers and can't wait to put them in the ground and pots. Don't you just love this time of year??
Sister you are a great gardener! I look forward to seeing how all your pots turn out. Bye the way, your froggie is laughing cause he farted!!!
You are so silly!!! I always crack up reading your posts.
I've heard your sweet southern drawl... but if I can get Jodi to do it with me... I'd be game.
Can't wait to see all of your projects! Those ferns are beautiful and what a deal they were! The video blogging thing sounds neat! I have a distinct accent, or so I am told! LOL! As long as I don't have to video myself, and just my voice, I might consider it! :)
Your header picture is great! ~hugs, Rhonda :)
My favorite time is when all the stores have their gardening wares out and the flowers and plants are everywhere. You look like you have a lot of work ahead of you! Can't wait to see the results!
Love to see the videos of people! i've been told I sound just like Reba McEntire.....such a southern accent!
Becky,
I love garden season. I currently have lettuce, radishes and green onions about ready to start eating ~~ YAY!!! And I can't wait to be planting more!!
I think the video idea is a great one. Just let me know. Sounds fun!!
Have a Blessed day,
Dawn
PS You so don't need a blog makeover girl ~~ I love this new look!!! But if you ever want something new, just let me know. And you don't even have to know how to knit =)
I came on over from Ashley's blog...your comment caught my eye about raining in AR. My mom and dad live near Hardy, AR and run a frame shop there downtown. Ever been there?
I really enjoyed your blog and latest post. I'm not much of a gardener!
