I LOVE my Sonic
My sweet little sonic girl
I don't know about you but, some mornings I hit the floor in a full blown frenzy (usually a couple of days before I have to leave for a trip). This morning was one of those days, so many things to do, so little time. Of course I have to sip a little coffee and watch a little Good Morning America before I can get my wheels turning. First off, a good three mile walk in the good ole southern humidy. Followed by changing the sheets, cleaning out my closet, paying a couple of bills, watering the flowers, moving the water sprinklers in the front and back yard every two hours, pulling weeds, feeding the fish, more laundry, riding my bike for thirty minutes and FINALLY, IT'S HERE! HAPPY HOUR AT SONIC!!!!! That's right it's two o'clock and time for that long awaited large diet vanilla coke with a splash of cherry!!! And no, I do not want a route 44 for a dime extra! But thank you for asking. Oh my goodness I almost forgot to tell you, someone tried to rob one of our little teenage girls last week at Sonic. Can you believe that and in broad day light! And it was a female! She told her she had a gun and turned to get it out of the back seat and the girl ran inside Sonic. And the authorities did find her. Poor lady she must have been in a full blown frensy that day too!

If only I had a dollar for every time I had "cruised" that Sonic!!!
Did I really used to order chili cheese tater tots and a DP then go straight to gymnastics??? Yikes.
I am so glad that you visited my blog! I finally have a Southwest friend to blog to!
As far as the logo, I did a google search for S'W and copied the logo and pasted into my blog! I hope that is helpful.
My husband was asking what your base is? He is Dallas based. We just love S'W.
That is really exciting that you are going to have 3 grandson's. Our boy's keep us really busy. I was laughing at your sonic story, we go to "Happy Hour" all the time, esp. if my husband is on a 4 day trip, it helps the time to go by faster!
Have a blessed week!

Your S'W logo looks great! I am so glad that you could just copy it. My husband and I were laughing at your husbands response to "what would John Wayne do". Politics is not something that I would normally put on my blog, but this upcoming presidency can make or break our country.
To be honest we did not know about the party for Coleen and Herb. Do you have the dates? I would love to meet you and your family in October. Hopefully, Jonathan will not be flying that day. My husband's name is Jonathan Shriver he is a Dallas based First Officer. You never know you guys might get to fly together in the near future. It is great that your family works for S'W.
Your blog looks great, your living room is beautiful!
