Silver Wings

I took this picture yesterday on our final descent into Dallas. Who would have thought when we landed there would have been ice all over the tree limbs and ground.

These big ole silver wings brought me home today since I couldn't make it in yesterday from my two day trip because of the freezing rain in Newport. Hey....but it was ok, because my sweet Casey flew into Dallas yesterday to start a three day trip today, so I spent the night with her. We got to the hotel (brrrrrr it was cold in Dallas with freezing rain as well) around 5:00 jumped in our jammies, fixed us a sandwich out of our food bags, made us a cup of hot tea, visited alittle bit and watched the "Bachelor".

I hopped on the 9:30 flight to Little Rock this morning and my sweet Cortney picked me up and I got to love on those babies all day. Finally, Alvin picked me up in Little Rock this evening and I am FINALLY home. YEA!!!! I was supposed to go back to work this Sunday, but someone picked up my reserve days and I am off another twelve days (unless I pick something up).

Anyhoo, Cindy Lou and I are off to Lucky's in the morning at 7:30......sure hope we get Lucky! I'll let you gals know.

Beautiful photo - I know you must be tired though! I am envious of your trip to Lucky's - you always seem to find the good stuff! You have to let us see as soon as you get home! I hope you rest well back in your own bed tonight. Maybe you'll dream about those beautiful grands!

Great photo - the clouds are beautiful. Glad you got home safely and Lucky's is now in your sights (well, you're probably there even as I type). I'll say it again - I wish we had a Lucky's.

12 days off! I may need to consider becoming a Flight Attendent ... do they take people who are scared to death to have both feet off the ground at the same time??

I'm glad you made it home safely sis. Twelve days off? I hope you don't pick anything up so we can play when I come home.

I'm feeling better today but feel like I've been run over by an 18 wheeler. The sun is shining and it is beautiful. That helps a lot!

Home is always the most welcomed place to be after struggling to get home! Be sure to show us some "stuff" from Lucky's!

Enjoy your time off!

It must be so strange hopping around like that. But it's nice that you can meet up with people to keep you company!

Welcome home Becky! I sure wish I was there to go to Lucky's with you! Can't wait to see what you found! I got tickled at your lipstick post below! It runs my children crazy. I will look like poop, and my hair may even be unruly, but I don't go out of the house or anywhere without my lipstick on! LOL!

Enjoy your break! ~hugs, Rhonda :)

It's always nice to come home, isn't it.

Hugs!

(btw...too funny...looks like we both chose the same "look"...that's okay with me though...we both have good taste, right?)
