What does your lipstick say

If I were on a deserted island .........the one thing I would have to have would be my lipstick. I guess it's do to the fact that I'm a southern girl and us southern girls NEVER EVER leave home without our lipstick! Can I get an amen!

I've always heard that the shape of your lipstick can say alot about your character.......so I thought it would be fun to hear what shape lipsticks all my bloggy friends have. Are ya ready girls.........SHOW US YOUR LIPSTICK!!!!!! (click on the following pic to enlarge)

Of course, I'll go first. I know, I know........I'm the weird one! But whatcha gonna do! I've tried and tried to make it a different shape. I have cut it straight across, wasted half a tube doing this many times and it still always ends up in this weird shape. However, when I read the above description it pretty much fits my personality to a "T". I'm curious to see if anyone out in bloggylands lipstick is shaped like mine......please tell me I'm not the only one!!!

By the way......do you think Angelina Jolie has one of these stencils!

Becky, this is so fun! I am the "slant" and the description fits me too! I believe your mom is about the age mine was - has she always "blotted" her lipstick like my mom did. I often wondered why she bothered putting it on in the first place!!! Thanks for the fun tonight.

Mildred....my mom has always "blotted". I never have....like you I always wondered why put it on only to blot it off!! LOL!!!

Love the pig photo. Too funny! I'm a flat top kinda girl. I wear lip stick from the time I get up in the morning until I wash my face at night. I feel "nekid" with it!

My resolution for TODAY - catch up on my blog reading. Gosh, it's amazing how quick and easy it is to get behind! And, believe me, I'm way behind. Anyhoo...I've enjoyed seeing what you've been up to.

Hugs!
Kat

You're not going to believe this... but mine is EXACTLY like yours!! I've had people make fun of me for my lipstick shape before!!

Hilarious.

Did you ever get your recycle bin back?

This is so funny!! How in the world did they figure this out??? My shape is a flat top and that description really does describe me pretty well!! That's crazy! :)

This is fun. I have heard of this before, but never really looked into it much. Well, I don't really use lipstick much, per se. I either use lip gloss {Victoria's Secret} or chapstick. But I used to use lip liner and a light colored filler. My lipstick filler was always the top left, the slightly slanted, close to the original shape one. That's a lot me. My chapstick is always flat, and that is a lot me too.

Sister I had to get mine out and look at it. It's the sharp angle. Not sure if that is good or not after reading about my personality. That lip stencil is really funny!

I use to do this though mine use to take different shapes! I use lip gloss these days so it doesnt get moulded into a new shape :(

Mine looks just like yours!! I've tried turning it around and using the pointed side but it breaks off on your lips! Yuck.

I've been lurking on your blog lately. Love it!

Well, I'm a weird one...alot of my lipsticks are flat and some are angled...so there you go..weird!

I must have a dozen of old tubes of lipstick....i really need to throw them out but it's as hard to throw out as a pair of shoes!!!

If I ever find a color I really love, they quit making it! Has that happen to you?

Hey girl...gosh I had to run get mine and look at it! lol Mine is like the top one on the left...says I color my hair for attention!!!! All this time I thought it was to cover my gray roots! lol lol Thanks for coming by...we don't know what we'll do next..we just know we are ready for a change and I really would like a bigger house! Have a great weekend!

This cracked me up! I'm pretty close to the original shape and that describes me, too, except for the coloring hair for attention thing. Never done that one before. LOL! That was fun! A lipstick stencil??? What in the world??? Ha! Oh, and you are SO right about the Southern thing. My mom taught my sisters and me if we had nothing else on, it had to be lipstick. So funny!

Amen, sister! I'm a good ole' southern girl , too -- I NEVER leave home without my lipstick on! Even if I have no makeup on, I'm gonna have my lipstick on!

Oh girl, this is so funny because I have an ongoing joke about this with one of my co-workers. She gets her lipstick down to a tiny point that is not much thicker than a pencil point and somehow still uses it! Amazing!

I knew that how your lipstick looks was supposed to reveal something about you, but I had never seen the chart. Thanks for sharing!

My lipstick looks just like yours. Everything it says about me on that profile chart is true too. Weird, huh? It so inspired me that I wrote a collection of short stories based on those profiles. They're going to be published in an anthology with other stories of mine. I'm an author and you can read more about me at www.phyllisjohnson.net One of my books if Hot and Bothered By It- midlife for women. My other book, Being Frank with Anne is a poetic interpretation of Anne's diary. Great finding your blog! Love it!
